Logo Icon Robbie Sue Pannell, age 49, departed this life on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Mississippi.

Funeral services honoring Robbie’s life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, September 19, 2026, at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care, with Bro. Johnny Rakestraw officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Keownville Cemetery.

Born April 17, 1977, Robbie was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Pannell and Mrs. Virginia Anne Glidewell, who survives. A lifelong resident of New Albany, she received her education from Pine Grove High School and was a member of Wallerville Baptist Church.

A homemaker throughout most of her life, Robbie devoted herself to caring for her family and those she loved. She was a wonderful mother, a cherished daughter, a loving sister, and a treasured friend to so many. Her family held the greatest place in her heart, and she especially adored her nieces and nephews.

Robbie found joy in collecting Wizard of Oz memorabilia and spending time browsing through antique stores in search of her next special treasure. Her warm heart, love for her family, and the many precious memories she created will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to carry on Robbie’s memory include her two daughters, Lauren Frazier and Sheyanne Bullock; her mother and father, Virginia Anne and Rickey Glidewell; one sister, Paula McCullough; two stepbrothers, Lesley Glidewell and Cody Glidewell; two stepsisters, Lacey Williams and Hali Glidewell; two special friends, Margaret and Savannah Russell; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her father, Robbie was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Paul Easley, Loretta Easley, Troy Pannell, and Norma Pannell, and one nephew, Jacob Pitts.

Robbie will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Although her absence leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, there is comfort in knowing she is forever healed, resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, and spending eternity reunited with those who went before her.

New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care invites you to share memories with Robbie’s family.
