FLORENCE-The River Bottom Swamp Romp was held on an absolutely beautiful fall September day this past Saturday, September 27th. The run took place at McFarland Park from 8am until 12pm with hundreds of people attending the event. By the end of the day there were many smiling faces wet and muddy…but smiling none-the-less. The event was billed “More Fun…Less Run” and from all accounts that is just the way it all came down.
