SHEFFIELD-The Ritz Theatre is excited to announce their Ritz Theatre Summer Camp for 3rd-6th graders! It will take place July 25-29 from 9am-3pm each day. Students will learn the basics of stage performance and character development as they spend the week writing their own stage play and developing characters, sets, costumes, and plot. The end of the camp will result in a small production for family and friends to attend.
Class instructor Ginny Cavin has 53 years of theatre experience. She studied theatre at University of Tennessee Knoxville and Voice at Belmont University. She has interned on Broadway and taught theatre to children at performing arts schools in Nashville.
The cost is $150 for the general public, and $125 for TVAA members at the Friend/Family level and above.
