Rita Thompson Hill, 90, of New Market, passed away on Sunday.
Mrs. Hill was born in Altoona, Alabama and enjoyed a career as a dental hygienist. She was a Christian and a part of Union Grove Baptist Church in New Market.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Hill; By her son, Curtis Randall Hill; By her brothers: William Curtis Thompson, J.L. Thompson, Carl Sims Thompson, John Ray Thompson; By her sisters: Ezella Watson, Christine Kell, and Shirley Seabolt.
Surviving family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy L. & Janet Hill; Her grandchildren: Ashli Hill Dickens (Brandon), Phillip Rievley (Patricia), Aimee Rievley; Her great-grandchildren: Hunter Rievley, Sierra Rievley, Hayden Rievley, Xander Ball, Jack Gillerian, Max Gillerian, Nora Dickens, Connor Dickens; Her great-great-grandchild: Willow Rievley; Her brother, Emmett “Junior” Thompson
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2:00pm at Taylor Cemetery with Bro. Billy Langford officiating.
