Rita Marie Romans Sharpton age 51, of Leighton, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, September 22 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Romans and companion, Bobby Ray Andrews. Survivors are her mother, Grace Adcock; daughter, Erica Sharpton; son, Jonathan Sharpton; sisters, Tacye Davis and Stephanie Crowden; brother, Stephen Crowden; grandchildren, Kristin, JesseDee, and Aleeah; great-grandchildren, Jonah and Joseph and several nieces and nephews.
