Funeral service for Rita Mae Turney, 73, will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Faith Independent Church with Rev. Dennis Shaddix and Rev. Doug Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Church, prior to the service. Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Taylor died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1943, in Morgan County to Charles Elbert Turney and Martha Lucille Thomas Turney. She was self employed, as a Seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband: Loyd Taylor and a grandson: Terry Matthew Crosswhite.
