Rita Lynn Machen Crowe, age 65 of Fort Payne, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at her residence. She was born on December 10, 1960 to Johnny Frank & Lottie Mae Wadkins Machen in Fort Payne. She was a former Vice President of Regions Bank.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Murdock and Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Crowe; daughter, Charity Crowe; son & daughter-in-law, Clint & Brittany Crowe; brother & sister-in-law, Rayford & Kendra Machen; sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Chris Roberts; grandchildren, John David (Alyssa) Martin, Bryson (Bailee Carter) Morgan; Paxton Price, Aubree Price, Delilah Crowe, and Gunner Crowe; great-grandson, Ollie Morgan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Machen.
