Rita Jean Hicks, 61, of Somerville, died November 22, 2014. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hicks is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James and Audrey Hamilton. She is survived by her son, Jacob (Alisha) Hicks; daughter, Leann (Jon) Bramlett; brother, James Hamilton (Tanya); and sisters, Ann Wallace (Jim), Linda Shirley (Wayne) and Lesley Shelton (Tim); grandchildren, Avery, Meggie and Claire Bramlett, and Memphis, Scarlet and Hollyn Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Alacare Home Health and Hospice at 1690 Beltline Road, Suite B, Decatur, AL 35601.
Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
