Rita Jan Johnson Clark, 69, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at her residence in Pontotoc. A loving wife, mother, sister, Me Me and aunt, she was a hard worker. She enjoyed serving in children’s ministry, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Clark, Sr., her children, Charles E. Clark, Jr., Mary (T.) Troupe, and Emily (Brandon) Patterson, and her 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Earlene Scarbrock Johnson, and her brother, Preston Ray Johnson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 5-8PM and Wednesday, April 30, 3PM until service time of 5PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Jeff Robbins will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Carson McKee, Charles Parker McKee, Chloe Elizabeth Johnson, Ethan Lane Troupe, Lincoln Paige Patterson, and Clara Grace Troupe.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Bentley Paige Patterson.
