Rita Gayle Gann, 66, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Zion, IL to Wilbur Dean Young and Donna Dorothy Clemmons Young. She worked in garment manufacturing and loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 19, 12 p.m. at Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Tony Darracott officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Christina Miller and Jennifer Mayhall; a son, Brian Gann; grandchildren, Dalton Mayhall, Abagail Mayhall, Jackson Mayhall, Grace Miller and Colton Thompson; one great-grandchild, Presley Mayhall; brother, Larry Young (Patsey); one sister, Pamela Moore (Patrick) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Gann and her parents.
