Mr. Ricky Lynn Judkins, age 62, of the Blues Hill community passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at his residence. He was born on November 10, 1963 in Smithville, TN and was of the Baptist faith. He was a self-employed masonry where he grew a clientele and made friendships with all of his customers. Ricky liked fishing and mowing yards; and he especially enjoyed making people laugh no matter the circumstances. He is preceded in death by his father Gene Judkins, mother Emma Bell Redmon (Morgan) Cantrell, brother James Judkins, sisters Brenda Johnson and Jean Ann Paris, and grandson Titus Fults.
Survivors include his children Nathan (Mandy) Judkins and Haley (James) Lewis, sister Rita (Pat) Ray, fiancé Sheila Nash, sister-in-law Carolyn Judkins, bonus kids Holly (Ellis) Mullins, Alisha (Casey) Jennings, Jakob Lewis, Alyricka Lewis, and Christy Jeffcoat, grandchild on the way – Axton, bonus grandchildren Ariel Mullins, Savannah Mullins, and Haizelle Fults, special friend Teresa Mayo, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mr. Judkins is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 23, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Joseph Arnold will officiate. Interment will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McMinnville Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
