Ricky Lee Barber Ricky Barber, a loving husband, father, brother, and devoted Paw Paw, passed away surrounded by the people who meant the most to him. Born with a big heart and even bigger love for family, Ricky built a life full of laughter, hard work, and unforgettable moments.

Ricky was married to the love of his life, Tammy Lee Barber, for 40 wonderful years. Together they raised two “big ol’ boys”, Josh (Jessica) and Justin (Megan), who were not only his sons but his closest friends. Ricky is also survived by his brothers, Greg (Holly) and Scotty, and his sister, April, each whom he loved deeply.

Nothing brought Ricky more joy than his four beautiful grandbabies- Spencer, Paisley, Delaney, and Piper. To them, he wasn’t just a grandfather; he was Paw Paw, their hero, their buddy, and the one who always knew how to make them smile. They were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Also left to cherish his memory is his brother-in-law-Todd Roberts (Debbie) and several nieces and nephews- Cody, Kaitlin, Bradley, Kayleigh, Zaylee, Brandon and Melanie.

Ricky lived for his family, and some of his happiest hours were spent side-by-side with his sons working on racecars, going to the track, and sharing stories in the garage. He had a lifelong passion for old Ford trucks, hotrods, and anything with an engine and character.

His hobbies were simple but full of heart-fishing, tending to the yard (often mowing even when it didn’t need it), and filling the world with laughter. Ricky loved pulling pranks and trying to scare people just to see them jump, always followed by that unmistakable grin.

Ricky’s life was defined by love, loyalty, humor, and the joy he found in the everyday moments. He leaves behind a legacy of family bonds, shared laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever.

He will be deeply missed, but his spirit, his laugh, and his love will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
