Ricky Ables, 58, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Houston, TX. He was born October 19, 1967 to the late James Ables and the late Kathleen Mayhall Simmons in Fulton. Ricky enjoyed working on vehicles, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time outdoors. He will be remembered for his love of hands-on work, his adventurous spirit, and the peace he found in nature. His presence brought warmth and steadiness to those around him, and he will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held privately at Butler Cemetery.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Lee Mayhall of Nettleton, Chad Mayhall of Okolona, Brandon Mayhall of Dorsey, and Tommy Lee Mayhall of New Orleans; sisters, Linda (Delbert) Colburn of Fulton, Patricia (Danny Daughtry) Christian of Belmont, and Sandy (Mike) Harbin of Mooreville; and his brother, James Hughes of Hamilton, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ables, and mother, Kathleen Simmons.
