Funeral service for Rickie Lynn Hill, 61, will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Eva United Methodist Church with Bro. Jeremy Oden and Bro. Paul Rivers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. His body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Eva Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Hill passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He was born June 9, 1956, in Blountsville, AL to Albert Hill and Dallie Parson Hill.
Mr. Hill was a member of the Spirit Life Church of God in Cullman. He was a hardworking, skilled craftsman and carpenter. He owned R & G Home Improvements and was a jack of all trades. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was always eager to help others, therefore, his employment at Huntsville Hospital as a Cardiac RN suited him. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He fought an 18 month battle with Leukemia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
