Mr. Rickie Duke, age 71, passed away late Tuesday in Lexington. He was born February 14, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late John “Bud and Dorothy Dickson Duke. He was a retired car salesman for RK Used Cars, served in the Tennessee National Guard, and was a member of Darden Pentecostal Church. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed storage auctions.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Mrs. Kathy Duke; two daughters, Ladona Massengill (Jody) and Paula Kristina Gilliland (Chris); three sons, Keith Duke (Tiffany), Kevin Duke (Roneice), and Rickie Duke; three step-sons, Scotty McKnight (Cassie), Shawn McKnight (Hannah), and Jonathan McKnight (Heaven); brother, Darren Duke; three sisters, Peggy Reeves, Floretta Renfroe, and Theresa Duke; 23 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 29 years, Pamela Duke; one daughter, Kristie Duke; brother, Robert Gene Duke; and a sister, Pat Butler.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, June 28, 2024 at Darden Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Darden Pentecostal Church on Thursday, 11 AM – 9 PM and on Friday, 10 AM until time of service at 2 PM.
