Rickey “Rick” Dean Blackwood, 66, of Hollywood, Alabama passed away September 9, 2025.
Rick is survived by his son James (Rachel) Blackwood; Daughter Jessica (Landis) Rains; Brother Coy (Janet) Blackwood; Grandchildren Riley (Griffin) Wilborn, Kirsten (Braxton) Teal, Breanna Paradise, Addelynn Blackwood, Brice Paradise, Parker Satterfield, Avery Blackwood, Lance Rains; Great Granddaughter Kaziah Teal, several nieces, nephews and cousins; Close family and friends Teena Light, Allison Light, Andrew (Melissa) Light, Annsley Light and River Light.
He is preceded in death by his Parents James and Veda Blackwood; Sister Juanita Grider and his brother Roy Blackwood.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 11, 2025 in the Rudder Funeral Home chapel at 1:00 PM.
