Rickey James Frazier, 72, of Woodville, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at home.
Rickey was born on October 5, 1949 to Charlie and Italy Frazier in Jackson County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Frazier; mother, Italy Frazier; several brothers and sisters; and grandson, Christopher Spears.
Rickey is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rheba Frazier; two sisters, Mary Pyle and Jeanette Campbell, both of Gurley; two daughters, Kristie (Jim) Harris and Kandice Frazier; and grandchildren: Brandon Spears, Trey Anders, Dalton Anders, and Jessica Sirten.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Rickey served as a volunteer at Comfort Care for Veterans. Retiring from Kroger’s after 20 years, he continued construction working for Fite Construction in Decatur and then he began his own cleaning service for the U.S. Government.
One of Rickey’s biggest pleasures was helping others and making sure they didn’t go without. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, attending sport events, and gospel singings. Spending time with family and friends is what he enjoyed the most.
Anyone who would like to donate in his memory, please consider contributing to the PALS Program at Woodville High School or Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
At his request, no services are planned. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
