Rickey Dean Barnett, 67, of New Hope, passed away Saturday.
He was preceded in death by father, John Barnett, Jr.; mother, Dorothy Barnett; sister, Judy Lewis; and granddaughter, Madelyn Barnett.
Surviving are wife of 46 years, Debra Barnett; son, Rickey Dean (Jennifer) Barnett, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly (Eric Bell) Haywood; grandchildren Austin, Nichlous, Brylee, Becks and Bowen Barnett, Blaine and Hunter Haywood; brother, Danny (Susan) Barnett; brother in law, Jerry Lewis; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers, Rickey Barnett Jr., Austin Barnett, Nichlous Barnett, Hunter Haywood, Danny Barnett, Eric Bell,Wesley Kilgo, and Brett Lewis.
Mr. Barnett proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Wednesday at 1:00 PM with Bro. Kevin Dewberry and Bro. Wade Franks officiating.
Interment will be in the Hampton Cove Memory Gardens.
