Richie Dean Taylor, 72, of Saraland, AL
Former Russellville resident, Richie Taylor, died January 3, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida with his loving wife, Dianne, at his side.
Richie’s favorite activity was spending time with his wife and two children, Ryan Taylor and Amy Davis, his son-in-law, Adam Davis and his precious granddaughters, Taylor and Mallory Davis.
Anyone who knew Richie also knew he had a passion for bass fishing and competed in many tournaments in North Alabama over the years.
Richie was born in Russellville on May 28, 1952, to Roy and Mattie Taylor, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by his three older brothers, Roy Taylor Jr., Stevie Taylor and Doyle Taylor.
The services for Richie Taylor will be held at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville, AL on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm with a service directly to follow.
