Mr. Richard Rutledge Burton, age 70 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away June 29, 2017.
He was retired owner of a manufactured housing company. He served as a baseball coach, deacon and Sunday school teacher and was a member of First Baptist Church, Haleyville.
Visitation is Monday, July 3, 2017 from 12 noon – 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Haleyville.
Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Bro. Nathan Carroll and Bro. Eddie Lawrence officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Burton; children, Rusty Burton and Mandy( husband Dan)Burton Ottlilige; brother, Chip Burton; sister Harriet Goggans; grandchildren, Samantha Gwillian, Mary Ottlilige, Danielle Ottlilige; nieces and nephews, Katie O’Berry, J.R. Weldon, Jarrett Kitchens, Rachael Johnson, Clay Burton, Nolen Burton and Neal Evans.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Sybil Burton; sister, Rebecca Evans.
