Funeral service for Richard ‘Ric’ Neil Hall, age 58, of Somerville, will be Friday, February 27, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at First Bible Church of Decatur with Rev. Dr. Steve Bateman officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hall, who died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his residence, was born December 16, 1967, in Cobb County, Georgia, to William ‘Bill’ Hall and Angela ‘Angie’ Hall.
Ric grew up in Douglasville, GA. He enjoyed running, bird watching, drawing, and spending time with family. He attended First Bible church and was involved in the children’s ministry. Ric received his mechanical engineering degree from Southern College of Technology which he utilized both in his career and personal life. Ric was a loving husband, father, friend, and pawpaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Angie Hall; sister, Kelly Price; son, Jonah Everett Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica ‘Jessie’ Hall of Somerville; three sons, Jacob Hall (Stephanie) of Harvest, Jefferson Hall (Danielle) of Somerville, and Jude Hall (Haley Goodwyn) of Jasper, GA; daughter, Marley Price of Somerville; grandchildren, Juniper Hall and Dakota Hall of Somerville and Lewis Hall of Harvest.
Pallbearers will be Tim Karrh, Adam Hill, Patrick Clemons, Jason Barrett, Jeremiah Wade, and Dan Culpepper.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children’s ministry at First Bible Church.
