Richard Melvin Grass ,74, of Guntersville, AL passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Grass was a long time member of The Church of Epiphany. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11:00AM at Guntersville City Cemetery. Paul Grass will be the speaker. Pallbearers will be, John Prince, Brendan Prince, J.P. Prince, Randy Jones, Gene Dudley, Brent Durbin. Preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Camp Grass, father, Melvin E Grass. He is survived by his, wife, Shannon Alston Grass of Guntersville, AL, sister, Patti Prosch of Guntersville, AL, brother, Paul Grass SR of Guntersville, AL, sister-in-law, Julie Alston of Birmingham, AL, brother-in-law, Alex Alston (Julie) of Charleston, West VA, niece, Katie Grass of Guntersville, AL, nephews, Paul E. Grass JR of Denver, CO, Owen Alston of Guntersville, AL, Evan Alston of Guntersville, AL. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or any animal shelter of your choice in his name.
