Richard Lee McIntyre, 62, of Rogersville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at his residence. He was a native of Lauderdale County and was a member of the American Red Cross and the American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at 11 a.m., in Greenview Memorial Chapel with David Cox officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Alice McIntyre; brothers, Jimmy and Donnie McIntyre, and sister, Joan Ivey.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rose McIntyre; sons, Richard Lee McIntyre, Jr., Terry McIntyre and Mark McIntyre; step son, Jimmy McIntyre; daughters, Tammy Bryant and Tina Davis; stepdaughter, Christy McGee; brother, Sammy McIntyre; sisters, Janice and Kay McIntyre; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William Ivey, Jimmy McIntyre, Keith McGee, Ricky Bryant, Tory Bryant, Cody Davis, Carlos Morales and Luke McIntyre. Honorary pallbearers will be Barrett, John, Matthew, Chance and Brandon McIntyre.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hospice of Florence for their loving care and support especially, Ashley, Cory, Amanda and April.
