Richard Lee Calvert, 84, of Florence, AL, passed away on November 15, 2023. He was born on July 26, 1939. Richard was a kind and generous man who was loved by many.
Richard is survived by his loving spouse, Peggy Calvert; his children, Steve Calvert, Lisa Calvert, Scott Calvert, and Jason Calvert; his stepchildren, Susan McNeil, Todd Point, and Scott Point; as well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Richard proudly served in the US Army and had a strong military association.
Throughout his life, Richard had a fulfilling career at Office Depot.
Funeral services for Richard Lee Calvert will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Richard’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association.
