Richard Larry IsbellRichard Larry Isbell, age 53 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born on November 28, 1967, to the late Ira and Elizabeth (Smith) Isbell. He had worked in the nursery business for many years, most recently worked at Crimson Dale Nursery. Richard enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, as well as watching car racing. He would help anyone in need and was liked by everyone. Richard had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Isbell, Glen Isbell, and Michael Isbell. Richard is survived by his loving wife of twenty-three years, Brenda Isbell of Winchester; children, Nicole Holman of Winchester, Steven Isbell of Winchester, Tyler Isbell of Estill Springs, Rachel Isbell of Winchester, and Briana Isbell of Winchester; grandchildren, Brittany Bennett, Shyann McCoy, Brian McCoy, Ryan McCoy, and Kyler Wade Isbell; siblings, Mary Ann Sims of Winchester, Elizabeth Wallace of Winchester, Ricky Dean Isbell of Winchester, Jimmy Dale Isbell of Winchester, Billy Ray Isbell of Winchester, and Donald Isbell of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 pm at Green Cemetery.
