Richard Jonathan Denton, age 70 of Smyrna passed away Sunday September 14, 2025. He was a native of Maryville and was preceded in death by his father, Richard Denton, brothers, Tim Denton, Bud Denton, sisters, Denise Ford, Donna Hamilton,
Mr. Denton was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and had retired from Denso.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Denton and wife Candace, Kelyn Denton and husband Zack Vercher; grandchildren, Rivers ,Lydia, Nolan, Todd, Haley ; mother, Glenda Denton; sister, Dion Hunt; brother, Dewayne Denton; son in law, Jason Manley, and a host of other family and friends.
