Richard Hugh Murphy, 55, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014.
Mr. Murphy was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of Pine Chapel Church.
The funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Kimbrough Cemetery. Officiating will be Curtis Taylor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 1 p.m. until service time.
Survivors include father, Willard Murphy, of Russellville; daughter, Melissa Murphy, of Fife Lake, Michigan; brothers, Wayne Murphy, of Russellville, Bryce Murphy (Sue), of Lexington, and Jim Murphy (Jan), of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy June Murphy; son, Brian Richard Murphy; and nephew, Derek Wayne Murphy.
Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
