Mr. Richard Gwinn Childers, 65, passed away Sunday January 14, 2018 at the Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee on September 4, 1952 to Richard Henry and Annie Myrtle Richardson Childers who preceded him in death along with his brother, Raymond Richardson.
He was a US Army veteran. He was employed by the Carrier Corporation.
He is survived by his wife, Pok Cha Kim Childers; sons, Kelly (Heather) Childers and Edward Childers; daughters, Kristina (Michael) Brown and Suzan (Greg) Richardson; brothers, Melvin (Elaine), Ralph (Kay) and Ted (Peggy) Childers; sisters, Wanda (Bruce) Meeks, Patricia (J.L.) Smith and Donna Childers; grandchildren, Ericka, Mikah, Jaxon, Lydia, Xavier, Boone, Aislyn and Emersyn; several nieces and nephews.
