Richard “Fruity” Harold Allen, age 84, Phil Campbell, AL. passed away Thursday January 9, 2025 at his home. He was a retired Truck Driver.
Visitation will be Monday January 13, 2025 from 12:00NOON – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Mollie Carter, Jeff Allen and Derek Allen; brother, Mike Alexander; grandchildren, Riley Shelnutt, Megan Welborn, Morgan Busby, Taylor Dodge and Kaylee Long; great grandchildren, Maddie Drew Welborn, Teegan Welborn, Joseph Shelnutt, McKenna Busby and Kaylzn Dodge; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard H. Allen; mother, Mildred Alexander; step father, Hoyle Alexander; wife, Opal Faye Allen; brother, James Allen.
