Richard Freeman Smith, age 81, of Russellville, passed away
Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
Richard was a Christian and faithful to his Lord and his Church. He was always sharing the Word of God and was a giving and helping member of North Highlands Church of Christ. Richard was an electrician for Monsanto for many years. He loved his wife Barbara and missed her every day since she passed away. He was ready to see her again, so this is a happy home going for Richard.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Brittany Vander Maas (Baron), Sandra Gruss; grandchildren, Sophie Gruss, Sam Gruss, Ezra Vander Maas; brother, Bill Smith (Juanita); as well as a host of special and loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Smith; parents, Aubrey Smith & Ella Freeman Smith; brothers, Bobby Neal Smith, Jack Smith.
There will be a private graveside service held at a later date.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
