Richard Epperson, 61, of McCalla, Alabama, enjoyed his profession as an engineer with U.S. Steel. He loved family, friends, and animals.
He is survived by his wife, Krystal Epperson; step-children, Landon, and Brad; sister, Roseanne Bebee; five nieces, Shelly Payne, Sherry Allender, Rochelle Bebee, Marta Conway, and Tania Tate; and good friends, Wes Goodwin, and Stewart Block. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Epperson; his mother, Theresa Epperson; and his brother, Jim Epperson.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
