Funeral service for Richard E. Morton, 70, will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Hill officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 30, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Morton died on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1943, in Culloden West Virginia to Emory Lee Morton and Vada Irene Davis Morton. Mr. Morton retired from Ford Motor Company in 1997 and was an avid bow and gun hunter. He loved competition archery. He was a devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his parents.
