Funeral service for Richard “Dick” Johnson, 85, will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Allen Johnson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Johnson died on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his residence. He was born June 6, 1938, in Illinois, to George Allen Johnson and Shirley Lucille Condit Johnson.
He was employed as a Warehouse Supervisor and Manager for Bel Cheese Company, prior to his retirement. He like dairy farming, racing motorcycles in his younger days, loved his Lord and his family and was loved by many. He enjoyed Forging with a group of friends in Cullman. He was married to the love of his life for 61 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Giselle Elaine Johnson Sutton and a grandson, Adam Sutton.

Wife of 61 years – Jean Gassaway Johnson, Hartselle, AL
Son – Richard Allen Johnson, Jr., Scottsville, KY
Daughter – Richelle Sandlin, Decatur, AL
Grandchildren – Seth Johnson and Katie Johnson.
Many Nieces and Nephews.
