Richard Bert Willmarth, 87, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away in Russellville on April 4, 2019. He was a native and lifetime resident of Franklin County, a member of Waco Baptist Church, retired from U.S. Reduction after twenty-five years, and a cattleman and member of the Cattlemen’s Association. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. James McCullar will be officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville.
Mr. Willmarth is survived by wife, Josephine Willmarth; daughter, Lucy Wilson; and son, Rick Willmarth and wife, Bonnie. Grandchildren include Beau Wilson (Brenna), Heath Wilson (Anna), Ricky Willmarth, Benjamin Willmarth (Meagan), and great-grandchildren are Cooper, Sawyer, Hattie, Della, Lou, Wade, Elizabeth and Hunter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death were his son, Stanley Hugh Willmarth; parents, Lance and Fana Denton Willmarth; and siblings, Edward, Pauline, Mattie, Howard and Frances Willmarth.
