Richard Mr. Richard Allen, 83 of Florence passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his residence. He was of the Methodist faith, a USN Veteran of the Korean War, member of American Legion Post #11, Masonic Lodge #14, Scottish Rite 32nd degree, member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter Alabama 63 , and retired from Reynolds Aluminum.

   Visitation will be today, November 4, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Jerry Campbell. Interment will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Greenview Memorial Park with military funeral honors at graveside.
   Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Martha Allen, two brothers, Burton and Ernest Allen, and a sister, Margaret Kennedy.
   He is survived by his wife, Nancy(Judy) Allen of Florence, three daughters, Debra Cisson(James) of Killen, Patricia Kennedy(Butch) of Rockwood, TN., and Lisa Garner(Jeff) of Florence, sister-in-law, Mildred Allen of Kingston, TN., five grandchildren, Damien Cisson(Kalee), Ian Cisson(Dani), Melissa Kennedy, Jacob Garner, and Cierra Harrell, three great grandchildren, Halley and Skyler Cisson, and McKenlee Hines, numerous nieces and nephews.
   Pallbearers will be Damien Cisson, Ian Cisson, Jacob Garner, Butch Kennedy, Jeff Garner, and Andrew Suddith.
   Skyler Cisson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Shoals, 115 Fairground Rd., Florence, AL. 35630 or to Bethel Berry Church of Christ C/O Betty Wooten, 7690 Co Rd. 259, Florence, AL. 35633.
