Ricardo Hernandez Sanchez age 11 of Athens, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. Ricardo was born June 6, 2005 in Limestone County, AL to Ricardo Hernandez and Gudelia Sanchez.
Services will be Sunday, September 4, 2016 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Charley Alookaran officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Ricardo was a student at Tanner High School, and played pee-wee football.
Preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Juan Vega.
Survived by his parents, Ricardo Hernandez and Gudelia Sanchez both of Athens; one sister, Vicky Hernandez of Athens; grandmother, MaJoel Vega of Athens, grandfather, Daniel Espinoza of Athens, grandmother, Teresa Teran of Mexico; grandfather, Valentin Hernandez of Mexico; great-grandmother, Zeferina Avila of Mexico; several cousins, aunts, uncles and family members; godfather, Ezequiel Sanchez.
Pallbearers will be Michael Vega, Johnny Avila, Luis Sanchez, Ezequiel Sanchez, Omero Zagal, Nicholas Hernandez, Nelson Hernandez and Lau Hernandez.
