Rhonda Gail Mullins Gagnon, age 71, of Jackson, TN entered her eternal reward after a long battle with systemic scleroderma on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Rhonda was born on Sunday, December 9, 1951, to the late Jack “JC” Mullins and late Mayme Bishop Mullins in Jackson, TN. While she was an only child, she cherished the closeness of many cousins. She graduated from Jackson Central Merry High School. The majority of her career was spent working in the banking industry and in Accounts Payable at Jackson State Community College. She retired in December 2014.
Rhonda’s greatest passion was her children and grandchildren. In her lifetime, she has attended countless sporting and academic events for her sons and grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter. Her other passions that resulted in many friendships revolved around horses, weather watching, collecting, and trading carnival glass, and going to the Tennessee River. She also loved to fish. A yearly highlight being the annual Good Friday fishing expedition that was started with her dad many years ago.
Rhonda is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeff Gagnon; two sons: Casey Freeman (Heather) and Travis Freeman (Crystal); four grandchildren: Addison Frazier, Connor Freeman, Blake Freeman and Lauren Freeman.
SERVICES: The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, beginning at 5:00 pm and continuing until 7:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, TN, with Rev. Paul Riddle of Highland Park Church officiating.
