Rhetta Louise Taylor Rhetta Louise Ranew Taylor, age 63 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. She was born on December 31, 1956 in Randolph County, Georgia to the late Curtis Lee and Agnes Long Ranew. Rhetta was a devoted homemaker, and a member of the Winchester First Baptist Church. She loved to cheer on her Georgia Bulldogs, host social events, sang in the church choir at Faith Baptist Church and volunteer in church activities and with seniors. She was a loving, cheerful, and caring woman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ranew, and her beloved dog of 15 years, Oscar. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gerald Taylor of Winchester; son, Brian (Julie)Taylor of Arizona; grandchildren, Calvin Taylor, John-Curtis Taylor, Marc, Michael, Maegan; great-granchild, Bowen; brothers, Ralph Ranew, Richard (Sherrie) Taylor of Kennesaw, Georgia, Tim (Susan) Taylor of Tifton, Georgia; and many extended family members. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, with the funeral service following at 3:00 P.M.
