RG Crum – Obituary

Mr. RG Crum, 86, of Tuscumbia, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013. He proudly served as a fireman and retired from the Sheffield Fire Department. He also served Spring Valley Church as a deacon. RG was proud of his family. His wife, children and grandchildren were his life. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lonette Crum; son, Rickey L. Crum (Alice); daughter, Phyllis Crum Runyan (Arnold); four grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Crum Odom.

His family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Colbert Memorial Chapel beginning at 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dan Anderson and Brother Philip Wright officiating. He will be buried in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

His family and friends will serve as pallbearers, with Larry Pounders as honorary pallbearer.

Our family gives a special thanks to the staffs of Heart Warming Care, Alacare and Leighton Pharmacy for the loving care shown to our dad.
