Rex Hard May 29, 1935- September 22, 2021
Rex Hard, age 88 of Huntsville passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his home.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years Marlene Hill Hard; parents Sam Hard and Julie Harrod Hard; sisters Bessie Hard Dixon, Cora Hard Garrison, Dean Hard Wilkerson, Edna Hard Mathis, Ilene Hard Wilkerson, Celia Hard Pegues and brothers Willard Hard, James Hard, John Hard and Paul Hard.
He is survived by his daughters Janice Hard Crowson (Stan) and Julie Violet Sutphin; grandchildren Jared Cole Crowson (Dana) Courtney Crowson Edwards (Chris) and Christian Ryan Sutphin and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Hard was a proud veteran of the U.S Army.
His funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Brashers Chapel Church. Burial will follow in adjoining cemetery. Rev. Dana Workman will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be
Sam Dixon, Mike Duke, Hunter Gilliland, Doyle Hard, Hoyle Hard and
Russel Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Cole Crowson, Christian Ryan Sutphin and Wade Morrow. Visitation will be from 4 until 5 at the church, before the service.
