Rex Buford Lemley, age 85, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 15th from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. Celebration of life will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother’s Ronnie Pannell and Harrison Chastain officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Mary Lemley; sisters, Linda Lemley and Wanda Ruth Fryer.
Survivors are his loving wife of 65 years, Pat Lemley; son, Michael Lemley (Cathy); granddaughters, Heather Roberts (Craig) and Hannah Williams (Chris); great-grandson, Jaxson Williams.
Rex was a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ and a member of Local IBEW #355. He loved Honda Goldwing motorcycles and riding with his local group. Special thanks to the friends from Jackson Heights Church of Christ and the team at Gentiva Hospice and nurse, Marissa for their love and care.
