Rex B. Collins age 72, of Huntsville passed away Tues. Dec. 14, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital. Rex was born on April 29, 1949, in Arab, AL the Son of Everet and Willie Mae Holaway Collins. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and worked for many years in construction as a carpenter. Survivors include his Son: Kyle Collins of Guntersville; Daughter: Paula (Lee) Hosch of Guntersville; Brothers: Ronald (Mary Jo) Collins of Guntersville and Frankie Collins of GA; Sister: Genella Lafarlett of Arab; Granddaughter: Miranda Holland; Great Grandchildren: Tinslee Likos and Sawyer Aplin. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Everet and Willie Mae Collins and Brother: Danny Collins. Funeral Service will be Friday Dec. 17, 2021, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Daniel Pierce officiating. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers: Darren Causey, Byron Key, Joey Collins, Lee Hosch, Jeremy Griggs and Levone Sutton. Honorary Pallbearer: Frankie Collins.
