Reuben Ricardo Montiel, III, 80, of Mobile, AL, passed away on Sunday, September 07, 2025.
He is preceded by his son, Reuben Montiel IV; and parents, Jean and Reuben Montiel, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Montiel; children, Melissa Montiel (Jake Nelsen), Bobby Hanna (Michelle), and Barbara Neal (Rockey); 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Reuben was a native of Mobile, AL. He was a retired Army veteran of 23 years and served in Vietnam. Reuben graduated from the University of Alabama and loved cheering on their football team. He also enjoyed playing golf.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20th, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Madison City Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Johnson officiating.
