Renaissance Feast takes on a Celtic Flare

eatingFLORENCE-The annual Renaissance feast will take place once again at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum which, for the evening, will take on the ambience of a baronial hall in a large middle ages manor house.

The date for this feast will be Saturday, October 19th at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $25.00 each and there is a limit of 200 to be sold.  You may purchase tickets at Kennedy-Douglass Center For The Arts located at 217 East Tuscaloosa Street (across from Wilson Park).

Everyone is encouraged to wear Medieval/Renaissance costumes.  But by all irishmeans it is not a requirement to attend the feast.

As always, this years feast is going to be sumptuous!  The theme for this years faire is All Things Irish as declared by the reigning Monarch, the multi-course meal will feature Irish recipes.  And this should result in a delight to every palate.

In addition to the excellent fare, the entertainment for the evening will also reflect the Medieval/Renaissance era and will offer opportunities for participation by the diners.  In short, it will definitely be a fun and memorable experience for all attending.  So get your ticket before there are no more and be prepared to have a most enchanting evening!
