Regina Gates 62, of Elkmont,AL died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama. Born Tuesday, January 25, 1955 in Moulton, AL, she was the daughter of the late Wlliam Cook and Julia Burch Cook. She has lived in the Ardmore area the past 40 years, she was a member of Community Baptist Church of Ardmore, worked with Dr. Turner for 25 years and Dr. Besherse for 15 years, she was one heck of a cook and her family and
helping others.
She is survived by her Husband of 40 years, Dwight Gates, Elkmont, AL, Son, Steven (Heather) Gates, Ardmore, AL, Daughters, Julie (Mark) Goodman, Muscle Shoals, AL, Stefanie Gates, Elkmont, AL, Brothers, Berry Cook, Ardmore, AL, Greg Cook, Athens, AL, Sisters, Sandra Marberry, Toney, AL, Edith Jorgensen, Eustis, FL, 2 Grandchildren Addie and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama , at 11:00 AM with Bro. Steve Hargrove and Rev. Heath Haney officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
