Regina Dunn, 60, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, and companion. Born in Urbach, Germany, she worked as a nurse as early as 16 years old. Married for 34 years, she remained faithful to her husband and children. She was a strong and caring mom who used the word proud to show how much she loved you. Her six grandchildren gave her hope and joy that filled her heart with happiness each day. She was a hard worker in everything she did. She lived a modest and pure life and always put others first. She liked to have fun and even tell jokes at times and saw herself as a wildflower which made her more loved. She holds the title of the most enduring woman that most people had or will ever know.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton Staudinger and Evi Staudt.
Survivors include son, Udo (Jenny) Herkommer; daughter, Yvonne (Stan) Teal (Herkommer); daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Walsh (Dunn); son, Brian Dunn; son, Tim (Christine) Dunn; sisters, Angelika Hennighausen and Cornelia Kohlman; brothers, Bernhard Staudinger and Markus Staudinger; 6 grandchildren; Emily, Christopher, Eva, Avery, Leon and Madelyn; nephew Jerome; 4 nieces Nadine, Tatjana, Alessia, and Melanie.
Visitation begins at 12:00pm with funeral services to start at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 31st, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery in Huntsville.
