Reese Danley-Kilgo, age 85, of Huntsville, died September 16th at home. A short memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 o’clock in the garden of her home. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Huntsville Public Library or Botanical Gardens.
Dr. Kilgo, BA UofAL ’48, MEd UofFL ’50, PhD UofTX ’66, was a retired teacher/counselor from UAH. Since her retirement in 1988, she was a writer and gardener.
Survivors include her three children, Patrick (Huntsville), Beth (Chicago), Kerstin (Knoxville); and four grandchildren.
