Red Bay Man Charged With Drug Trafficking

FRANKLIN COUNTY-On Wednesday May 15,2024 members of the Franklin County Drug Task Force and the Red Bay Police Department worked jointly on an investigation regarding the selling of Methamphetamine within the City Limits of Red Bay, AL.

During the investigation, developing information led investigators to obtain a Search Warrant for a residence located on

JOHN DEVIN KIMBROUGH

10th St. NE Red Bay, AL. Upon executing the Search Warrant JOHN DEVIN KIMBROUGH was detained. The subsequent search revealed approximately 89 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, various sorts of Drug paraphernalia, and two handguns.

KIMBROUGH was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center where he was charged with the following: Drug Trafficking Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
We appreciate the Red Bay Police Department and the personnel involved that saw this investigation to a close.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
