Rebecca Quattlebaum – Obituary

Graveside services for Rebecca Quattlebaum, 78, of Cookeville, Tennessee and formerly of Decatur will be held, Monday, June 19th at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Gardens of Memory in Decatur with Dr. David Potts, President of Judson College, officiating.

Dr. Quattlebaum was born March 23, 1939 in Culman to the late Aubrey Zeke and Mary Goodwin Quattlebaum.

Rebecca earned a baccalaureate degree at Judson College and a Master’s of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Alabama. During her 40 year career in higher education, she taught counseling, was Dean of Women and retired as the Dean of the Graduate School and Extended Education at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville.

Survivors include her aunt, Patricia (Mrs. Robert) Fulbright of Waynesville, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to God’s Grace Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church, 165 East Broad Street, Cookeville, TN 38501.
