Rebecca “Mrs.Becky” Bogardus, 71, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the NMMC surrounded by her family and friends. She was born Nov. 01, 1946 in West Pont, MS to the late Relmon and Irene Bird Hamilton. Becky enjoyed cooking, video games, puzzles, spending time with her family, friends, and was an avid MSU fan. She worked for West Main Wal-mart for many years before her health failed.
A celebration of life service will be 1 PM Saturday, April 28, 2018 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating. Private burial will be at Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 AM till service time only on Saturday at Holland Tupelo Chapel, which is honored to be serving longtime friends.
She is survived by three sons; William Kulovitz (Cindy) of Tupelo, Gy Sgt. Frank “Michael” Kulovitz (Belgin) of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Jon Kulovitz (Ashley) of Tupelo, one brother; Bill Hamilton (Barbara) of Nettleton, eight grandchildren; Cpl. William, Matthew, Ashlee, Nathan, Andrew, Haley Kulovitz, Blade and Zachery McDonald, her lifelong friend, ex-husband and the father of her children, Joseph Kulovitz of Verona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Doug Bogardus, and two sisters; Carol Hudson and Mimi Binkele.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Hamilton and Joseph Kulovitz.
